I absolutely love being a home-school family. When my daughter was 2 years old I started teaching her how to write letters and numbers. I would tape a stencil to the table with a piece of paper underneath and we would spend one hour a day learning the alphabet and the numbers and as we would call them off she would trace them out using the stencil. This works great. Next I would start trying to teach her how to read. This took longer than expected and someone suggested buying her comic books…
