Description: Paula Adams is a native of Texas. Born in El Paso Texas along the Rio Grande River. Her family life consisted of half "Mother Earth" vs. "G.I.Joe", both are much more appreciated today, then as a teen. Art and Design came very early around the age of 3. Self-taught up until she started high school. Art classes and Creative Writing were her favorites.Still are as a mater of fact.
Paula began as a single mom with serious designing. She began studying and knew she could draw, so she embarked. Out of this came marvelous murals and highly sophisticated faux finishes using her home and her children's rooms for practice. By the early 90's she entered college for Interior Design and Fine Arts Degree, acquiring these both she continued to design and create residential and commercial properties. Through word of mouth, neighbors, and school activities a small business soon developed. The Artistry of Paula Adams. She had always kept it as a second job.
After several years of designing and entering people's home and office environments she noticed they never really had good energy or vibrations they seemed out of sorts for the persons or person that were living or working in these places. She began to remember her mother and how she used to say everything has energy..everything, every spot. Paula became interested in what and how this energy could be used in our daily environments for a balanced living. Feng Shui was presented to her, from that day on it was like the circle had come around...complete.
Paula attended many seminars and workshops and then achieved certification as a Level 3 consultant with continuing education as often as available. She is currently working at the level 4 program as this is being written. Her teachers consisted of two masters one who followed the Chinese teachings and one who was of Native American decent and taught her a more native and western outlook. She also gained the knowledge of using what is placed before you and what you already own.
Now, she is achieving all her goals with stepping out into the "Independent Artist Circle' she is taking her art which is Feng Shui based to the festivals and shows in her area. She has a world all her own and she bases most of her work to include in the titles: _Welcome to My World_ her colors are glorious and rich she uses many medium from inks &pastels, acrylics, heavy textures, clay, metal, a range of items as to include the four elements in her work. All of her photography is centered around nature and with stories and words of a poet she adds to each creation. She also dabbles a bit in Digital Art.
Paula is embarking in a new direction this year, by opening the "Chi Gallery" Balanced Living" to educate and also offer services and consultations. She will be using local artists and their works, and using the gallery as a model to use what is available add only what you lack. She will designing the gallery with what ever is available just as a everyday person would and should do.
As one takes care of thier mind, body, and spirit so to should one be mindful of the environments that you subject these too. Energy is all around us and can be negative or positive we can harness the positive as well as, be aware of the negative.
If there is light in the soul, there is beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person, there is harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house, there is order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation, there will be peace on earth.
