- I am a 42 year old Office Manager for a Real Estate Investment and Asset Management Firm. I'm very excited to be a member of Team Beachbody. My goal is not to lose weight; it is to change my quality of life. Eating healthy and exercising should be apart of our every day life not something to begin, then revert back to our old habits. Therefore my goal is to create and maintain a lifestyle change; embracing a daily routine of fitness and health. This mind and body transformation begins with our thought process, the brain, and subsequently motivates us to move our bodies. I'm going to use this philosophy as a means to motivate myself. Hence the name "MsMarvel".
I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY. Living in NY everything is very easily accessible. There are many options for public transportation but walking is a very large portion of getting to and from various locations. Once I moved to New Jersey and lived in a more suburban location, my means of public transportation became very limited. Most venues are too far apart from each other and generally nothing is within walking distance. Therefore, not much walking is done. Commuting is now limited to mainly driving. I personally became very complacent, did very little walking, stopped going to the gym and of course did more eating of unhealthy foods. Ultimately, I went from being 5' 10 wearing a size 8 to being 5' 10 and wearing a size 14 - not good. I'm now a little bit more conscious of what I consume on a day to day basis (wearing a size 12) but there is always room for progress and further improvement.
So, I am ready to be the best that I can be and help others in the process!!
As my journey begins and will continuously update my Bio with my progress. Until then....
