Now, I do not have a show yet, BUT I do OWN an ENTIRE station. I will have a show on my station, but right now, I am concentrating on getting my programs together for my second launch on January 3rd where I introduce the talk shows. Right now we just play music by all of the lady greats from Striesand to Jill Scott and everyone in between. You can listen while you work! www.wowradionow.com

A tip for becoming a photographer....do a lot of pro bono for non profits for about 6 months. People have to see your work, but also see YOU work. Like offer to take pictures for the Chamber of Commerce in your area, they will probably start publishing your photos in their newsletter "Photo courtesy of Kym Glasper" Then people say, "Wow! These are nice photos...let me go to her website or facebook page." and then "...hmmmm, I wonder if I could hire her for my husband's retirement party....." You are extremely talented. There are places online that will BUY tour photos. We should talk!

You can put an add on craigslist offering to do a session for free in exchange for copyright
to use the photography for advertisement. Build up a portfolio and then start charging.

I have been trying to teach myself for a couple of years now. I love nature photography and since i love animals so much I would love to become a pet photographer. I love little kids too but they are hard subjects! Always moving!
Hopefully with this site I can find more inspiration to achieve my goal. Good luck, you really take good pictures ; )

Love your photos. Great shots. I am shopping around for a new camera as well. Right now I'm using a Fuji S700 which is really just a point and shoot, but I use the manual settings. It's actually a good camera for practice.I hope to get either a Nikon D5000 (any Nikon really) or Canon. Have you been a photographer for long?
