Work at Home Businesses

With so many people unemployed and the prospects of finding a good job diminished, we have to think "outside the box". Jobs that  you once had may never be available again. So, it is time to start thinking about what you can do to start building a solid foundation for your future.

Working for someone else does not hold the stability that it once did and now is the time to become self reliant! Create your own business.

According to ABC News.com, here is the list of the top 7 work from home jobs:

1. Freelance Public Relations/Writer
2. Personal Chef/Caterer
3. Business Analyst
4 Graphic Designer
5. Virtual Assistant
6 Customer Service Representative
7. Business Coach

My top pick for probably the easiest one is Virtual Assistant. It is something that many people are in need of and not something that requires a lot of skill. Of course, the more that you learn about social media, the better your chances you have of obtaining more jobs!

Did you look at the references I supplied, I think they are real jobs from real companies.

Also, Home Shopping does hire for remote telephone operators. Active web companies need help too. You just have to put your resume and your info out there. Post a discussion here as well on DivaCafe with your qualifications.

Better yet, create a group for Virtual Assistants. They can post their qualifications and I will feature it. I am sure there are a few ladies here that might need help part time. DivaCafe will be in that situation eventually:)

Hi Dede:  First let me start off by saying Thank you for inviting me to be a friend.  I am so glad to have found a Social Network that I know is going to be very beneficial to me.

For several year I have been interested in a work at home business.  All the ones that I have search and found are asking for a start up fee.  I know I may sound strange, but I want to get paid not pay to work.  I would like to do some Data Entry or Typing.  Can you give me any suggestions.

Hi Joy,

There are many skills that are needed for Virtual Assistants. Many require some web knowledge and technical skills. Most require basics like microsoft word etc.and now with Social Networking becoming so mainstream as a source of advertisement, the ability to connect with people through the internet on Twitter and Facebook.
