By  L.J. Jordan

Acne is characterized by pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and “nodules,” and even “cysts” that form on our face or on the rest of our body. However, acne can affect any age group and is easily triggered by bad eating habits, stress or and or other environmental issues.

There are several natural remedies for healing Acne:

Hi Dede,

Indeed, milk chocolate for the most part should be avoided because of its high sugar content, potential trans-fatty acids and mainly because of the high hormone content of the commercial milk it could be using. Dark chocolate contains anti-inflammatory phenols so if you need to have chocolate, make it dark! Acne for the most part is due to genetics, a bad diet, improper hygiene and hormone inbalances. Fortunately, I don't get breakouts anymore but I used to suffer so much from them. Chocolate seemed to really affect my skin!!
