What is DivaCafe?
DivaCafe.net is a Social Networking Community for Women. I started DivaCafe.net to give all ladies the opportunity to connect for business and friendship. We are a fun place where you can create groups, forums, videos, instant message, make great new friends and network for business.

How to add html, video, and badges to my profile page?
In the Text Box section on your profile page.

How to add photos
There are 2 kinds of photo adds. First, you can add a profile photo. This greatly helps other members connect with you and is recommended.To add a profile photo, go to your profile page or "My Page" at the top of the site, click on Photo and go to the profile settings.Then,, click "browse" and upload from your computer. You can also reach this from SETTINGS at the top right of our site!

The second type of photo upload is for your albums that are displayed within your profile. There are two links to these and they are located on the left side of your profile under photos and photo albums. You can even "favorite" photos of other members and save them there for later viewing!

How do I get started meeting other members?
1. Go to our Introduce Yourself group and say hello.Feel free to join other groups that interest you We have many groups, so you should be able to find some that interest you.

2. Visit our Chat area at the bottom of our homepage. If you turn on the sound icon located next to the smiley face on the chatbox, you will hear when someone is chatting. You can also pop out the chat box and browse the internet while still staying connected to the chat room. If you are on pages other than the homepage, you can see how many are online and also connect to chat at the bottom right of our site on the toolbar.

3. Browse members of our site and add friends. To search for members near you, simply click on MEMBERS at the top of our site. Then, click Advanced Search next to the search bar. I recommend that you try it two ways. With the city only and then with the state abbreviation.. Please add the abbreviated version of your state instead of the full name. Unfortunately, this is one of our issues that will hopefully be resolved soon. If you add the entire state name, you will yield few results.

4. Join forum discussions or add your own!

5.Greet our new members. When new Divas join our site, they are excited and love to be recognized. You can say hello and welcome them. The newer members will show up first when you click into MEMBERS.

What is Quick Add?
You can add photos, discussions, blogs, videos, events, music or invite friends from one area. It is located near the top right of our site, just under SETTINGS

How to Remove Friends

Simply go to their profile and below their profile photo on the left side you will see Remove as Friend.

How to Stop Receiving Emails

Because Divacafe is a networking community, you have to be prepared that members will be sending emails to invite you to their groups, events or just friendly chat.

There are unfortunately some people that will abuse their privileges with spam and send out mass emails daily. If this occurs please email me at divacafe@hotmail.com and I will deal with it immediately.

There are also ways to limit the amounts of emails you receive. One way is to "unfriend" anyone who you feel is blasting your inbox. You can do this by clicking into their profile and on the left side of their profile page, below their image and the share links, there is a Remove Friend link. Simply click it and they will not be able to send you an email directly unless you have joined one of their groups.

To stop receiving emails from a certain area on Divacafe, you can go HERE to control what emails you receive. Just remember, you might miss something you want to know about if you do this, but you can always add it back!! This area is found under Settings at the top right of the site and then select Email.

This is done to prevent potential misuse. You may list your charity in your profile if you provide us with proof of your 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation We request you to please honor this guideline and hope you have a pleasurable time on Divacafe. Thank you for understanding.

Spam is not allowed on Divacafe. This means that anyone that is continually adding or asking for someone to become their friend so that they can constantly send members emails to self promote or promote their business opportunities on Divacafe will be at risk of being deleted for violating our spam policy.

Anyone that is continually leaving comments promoting their business could also be in violation. We are here to help you promote your business but it must be done in a responsible and respectful way so that Divacafe and our members are not adversely affected.

All articles, blogs, discussions and groups are property of Divacafe. Articles and groups will remain here if a member leaves Divacafe unless authorized by Divacafe.

Anyone asking for money will be automatically banned from Divacafe.

You may not defame or harass a member, or use profanity in posts or chat.

If anyone member violates our TOS they may be banned without explanation.
