So lets get started!
*** To increase my bookings- my personal goal is to Connect (actually talk to) 5 new people a day, to connect and serve them thru M.E.I. and my tupperware business. I also encourage my team members to do the same. When you do this techinque you will potientially meet about 25-35 people a week. That is 100-140 people a month! Now out of that number of people you should be able to somehow Build your business. Thru bookings, team building and such. Also staying connecting and continuing my training thru meetings and conference calls, and our exclusive online website, full of fun ideas and scripts for booking parties and building your team, etc.
*** How I will build up my team- is simply by connecting with them in a deeper maner, by finding out What their dreams are and their goals in life. (it is amazing, to see people react to that questions- most people are never asked that question or never truely think about that, they normally just live day by day) * kind of like you puttingt his contest on and the purpose of the Divas, defining their goals and learning from other divas. Truely the way to build your team, is by simply making connections and networking- much like what we do here. Building Trust and Friendships with NEW people, making it about them (finding out Who they are? what are Their dreams and goals)- not You! I am excited to build my team, ROCKSTARS, further. I have already connected with Lauren, here on DC and she has joined my team. She is amazing. The other thing I can offer my New Potiential team members is Definite personal touch with MY M.E.I. (motivation, encouragement and inspiration) both in Life and in Business. People are reacting that very well, its amazing to me How many people truely do not get that on a regualr basis. I am fortunate to get that daily from my upline in my Tupperware business! Which is how I have learned to give to my personal team members, in a deeper maner. Building up my team members and watering their dreams weekly thru constant connections, makes a huge difference!
*** Regarding Networking, WOW has this made a difference in my business and life. I have met some wonderful people thru the Networking groups I am involved in and also started one. (Diva Cafe, Direct Sales Biz, and Smart Working Divas Networking groups- these are my main ones, I try to be on Daily, except weekends) I have been working at making connections here 1st and becoming friends with others, reaching out to others, building trusts, finding out about them, and then sharing about me by asking them to visit my page. I have been doing it for about 2-3 months now, Just this week- I have seen the benefits in my business. I am NOW making my personal Business Connections (with New team members, bookings, and new customers) BUT 1ST YOU- have to put others 1st, then the Rewards come later! I just have been rewarded for all the TIME I have invested in these groups, and it feels wonderful! Like I had said above, I have gotten a new recruit this week from it and many other business connections. I can't wait to connect with more people and M.E.I. them, connect and serve them! Putting others 1st is my main personal goal everyday! I was also told once, the MORE you Put your name out there online and your website, the MORE you get noticed and people know of you! So that is important too.
*** 3 month goal (july, august, sept):
Step further into Royalty, Promote out 2 new managers, enter DIQ program in Sept., work on average $3200 monthly personally. take my family on a family vacation to monterey aquarium as an award of supporting me and help running our family tupperware business. building up my personal team members, welcoming their new team members and helping all of them reach their personal goals and dreams- ON THEIR OWN TERMS.
*** 6 month goal (oct, nov, dec):
Continue my DIQ, build up one of my managers into DIQ program, find new team members and continue averaging $3200 personal sales. building up my team members and helping them reach their goals
*** 12 month goal (jan, feb, mar, apr, may, june): Do all the above of course, in these months have atleast 30 personal team recruits, and promote out more 3 new managers and another team member enter the DIQ program. Promote to DIRECTOR OF THE ROCKSTARS in February 2011. At the end of have 2 team members into the DIQ program, and one finishing up her DIQ, and becoming a Director herself (which then would put me in the position of promoting to Star Director) WOW THIS IS EXCITING TO SEE THE PROJECTIONS I AM WRITTING DOWN IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS)

Our goal is to help our members who are new to a business, thinking about one or possibly struggling. Great things can happen when you put a lot of Diva minds together!!!

What a great contest and a great prize! I think it is vitally important not just to have goals but to have time-specific goals which are written down. I believe that is the only way to achieve those goals and dreams. So, here are mine:
First and foremost, my continual goals are to grow and learn through my business. I am currently studying for my Mortgage license and soon will be starting my Investment license course. I believe the more knowledge I have, the better leader I can be, both for my clients and my team. I also read self-improvement books, taking at least 30min every day to further myself as a person and a business-woman. I believe whole-heartedly that people do not just join a business, they join people so my first step is to increase my own knowledge and experience base to become a better leader and service provider.
I agree with AnitaMarie on connecting with my team members. I find out their "why"- the reasons they joined the business and what motivates them so I can help them obtain their goals and dreams. I hold study sessions to help my team members pass their test for their license and to allow us to socially connect in the meantime. My biggest goal is to help my teammates get off to a fast start so they can bonus through the company and see sucess early on.
I am also increasing Internet usage. In my industry, I think the Internet is often an overlooked medium and as I continue to grow my marketing skills, I can utilize the power of the Net more. I am joining networking sites, such as this one, as well as creating my own webpage, where I will offer advice as well as some of the amazing products my company provides.
Another way to increase my appointment bookings is by obtaining referrals on the first appointment, which is not something we had done in the past (it is typical to collect referrals when we return to our clients) Using this method captures the excitement people feel the first time they see what the company is able to do for people. I am then using these to set at least 4 new appointments per week. This strategy will help me to meet my production goals.
To build recruits, my goal is to get 8 commitments per day to meet face-to-face. This allows me to meet at least 10 people per week. My goal is to have at least 3 personal recruits every month.
My three month goal (by the end of Sept) is to attain a Team Leader position within the company so I can be a leader for my team. Also, to have three newly licensed people on my team so that I can show them sucess within our industry. As mentioned earlier, I will also be fully licensed to further help my clients and my team.
My six month goal (by the end of Dec) is to become a Regional Manager and have a team which is producing. I would like to have at least two Team Leaders on my team. I would also like to be earning enough that my fiance can leave his corporate prison J.O.B. and join me full-time in the business. I am also working hard to qualify for this year's annual company trip which is an all expenses paid trip to Puerto Rico, where I will get to learn from the company's top producers.
My year goal (by next July) is for my fiance and I to be Regional Vice Presidents with the company which means we will have our own office. This will be our first step to financial independence and early retirement. This will also be the continuation of our team and allow us to train others to open their own offices and help our team members achieve their own goals and dreams.
Thank you for letting me share these with you. It's exciting to think about the things that will be happening over the next year and how big my business will become. I was rereading your post this morning and your MEI concept kind of jumped out at me. Is that something you learned through your organization or was that a personal concept? I would like to talk more about this- I think that is something we could all use a little more of both in our businesses and in our personal lives.

(motivation, encouragement, inspiration), and just thought of another one this morning H.O.P.E(hope, options, passion, encouragement).... all these have been modeled daily to me as well as I have always been surrounded by all these growing up- I have been blessed to have- I have met many woman here and other places that "truely" do not have this, and wish they did. When I offer to do this for the divas here or others places, they truely apprecitate it. I do not because i expect anything back= BUT because I want to be able to be there for others, or like one diva said yesterday," thank you for being my angel, i really needed that- she didnt have that".. that makes me feel special and I know when I unselfishly do things for others, that I am doing what the Lord has put me on the earth to do. I have been blessed here, I have had 2 ladies join my team in the last 2 weeks- I believe alot of why I have had this success, is because I start first with the M.E.I. (I extend my hand out to the divas here, and build a friendship/trust and then go from there) I love being here at Divas Cafe, and meeting all the new divas here. I would love to M.E.I. you in your dreams and goals Robyn, for nothing else to see you succeed in them and be WHO you desire to be! YOu rock girl, thank you for asking.
