Great resource

If you haven't already tried this website....you seriously need to stop what you are doing and get on. It gives you daily email tips to tidy and all that jive. It's absolutely AMAZING!

Crystal! Thanks for posting this link! I was going to do it and hadn't gotten around to it. I've been Flying for about 6 years now and love it! After 6 years, I've just started my control journal but it is shaping up. I have customized the routines to fit my life and they have made a huge difference in my life and home. Everyone should definitely stop what their doing and jump on and learn to FLY!

I know what you mean about not getting anywhere just reading articles. I do fully get that. I do what I can as I can. Been nagging my son to pick up the small stuff. You know, cases that DVD's go in and the like. If you put things back where they belong when done, that tends to be half the battle. I also am working at finding ways to get rid of some of the paper that we accumualte. Seems to multiply.

I like using some of FlyLady's stuff because she explains things in a way that anyone can understand and breaks it down in to small incriments that are easier to manage. I get her emails all the time and have learned a lot. I also know some of my problem is that we are busy and that doesn't always leave time to be as neat as I want. It gets out of hand, the clutter and all. I have found that I start to feel boxed in with clutter. I cleaned out the car the other day and my mind feels a bit better at least when I am in the vehicle. I know other things will take time.

I've been fighting the hot spots! In the fly lady's 15 minute declutter sessions - I have to have a hot spot fire drill everyday. I had discussion with my husband last night about this. When I woke up this morning he had actually put his boots on the mat, and moved his wallet & phone off the coffee table.

Hey take any accomplishment as a good one. That is what I do. I take it day by day and just hang with it as best as I can. Miracles don't happen overnight and if they are making a small effort that can be the beginning of a few other ones.
