Is there any such thing as too young?

I have people tell me all the time that my 2 year old son is "too young" to be learning certain things. He knows his ABCs and how to count to 15. He also knows how to spell his name and almost every animal on God's green earth! LOL! Am I pushing him too hard and taking his childhood from him? He genuinely seems interested in learning and we don't every work on these things for very long...

Congrats on giving your son what he needs to succeed. My 2 yr old Grandaughter knows all her ABCs and counts to 20 - Knows her name when she sees it but wont write it - well okay she can write the first two letters of it. She knows all the animals too. She knows her colors and shapes from blue dog dvd. Draws amazing... I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw her draw a car and her papa next to it - what the heck!! LOL She draws girls with big heads.. eyes, eyebrows.. ears with earrings and adds limbs too haha to cute. Oh and she builds castles with her legos haha!!

I believe it is who is with them most of the time. My Grandaughter is with PaPa and NaNa!!!

I think all kids learn at different ages. Some children pick up on stuff faster. A lot of people like to judge if there child has not done that yet or started to do it. If he is having fun than i say RIGHT ON. So I wouldn't worrie to much about what other people say about it.
