I have read many articles having to do with beauty tips for those of us over 40.

It is said that women over 40 should wear a matte foundation.  I totally disagree.

I think a matte foundation on an older woman can look powdery and actually accentuate her age.

I combine an illuminator with my foundation, and it leaves my skin looking dewey and much younger.  I use it on top of my foundation and apply it under my eyes and on either side of my nose.  I don't have great looking skin under my makeup, but no one needs to know that, and no one needs to know my age. :)
