Like many of you,I suffer with a chronic disease.I know what its like to be with a chronic disease and feel alone.I am 24 and I came up with an idea.I want us to stare in the face of our disease and show that despite what is going on,we are still beautiful women. We are strong and can triumph through our situations.I am looking for women ages 15-25 to start a photo project to encourage other young women.reply if you are interested so that I could get into more detail.I am looking for bold, strong women with all types of diseases:cancer,lupus,alcopecia,HIV/AIDS,any types of hair loss diseases, anything that is chronic and serious please reply.

I have endormetriosis and had to have my left ovary removed when I was 19. There's no cure for it and the best treatment is birth control, so I'll probably have to take pills until I reach menopause! More women need to be made aware of this condition. It's estimated that many women have it and don't even know it because the main symptom is cramping during menses, which typically occurs anyway, so most women don't even give it a second thought. When I finally got my atypical cramps checked out (it never stopped hurting), it turned out I had an endometrioma the size of a grapefruit attached to my ovary! There's always a possibility it will flare up again, but nothing has happened in the 7 years since my surgery. Anyone else??
