would love some advice! please help

My boyfriend and I travel all over the United States for his job, when I started living with him out on the road I had just put my third son in College, so it was like starting life all over again for me, I had a lot of ideas and goals for this until the economy took it's turn for the worst, and now I am very stuck as to where to begin.

We can be in one place for a couple weeks, a few months, to a year, we never know where he will be, for how long, with sometimes little advance warning, I would really like to work from my hotel rooms and computer, I have not been able to come up with a compromise about what would work best since I am often away from mailing address and land line telephone.. Do you know that most hotels these days charge for incomming and local phone calls?

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas, thoughts comments, or suggestions?? Thank you in advance! susan~

Susan,
Sounds as though you have a few things going on that require more than a few moments of thought. Most all hotels charge for incoming and outgoing calls. They assume that most people have mobile phones. If you do not have one, please consider getting one. Most carriers have a prepaid wireless plan, if you don't want to get tied to a contract.

Are you just bored with traveling? Are you just seeking something lucrative to do on your own?

Thank you for the advice, I do have a cell :) and thought for a computer based business/employment I would need a lan line, perhaps I am wrong.. I love the traveling but not the unemployment that has gone with it. I have been trying to find a computer based business that I can afford for start up while doing it. :)
