potty elmo helped us a lot and reading or singing silly songs in the bathroom.

we also used m&m's and prizes as incentives.

Most importantly, have patience and understanding. For them, it's a huge step going from the comfort of diaper changing to now being seated in this huge h*** full of water. For some kids, it can be a bit scary. Have you tried the potty training chairs. Award stickers worked really well with my daughter since she's into Disney princesses and Dora.
Also, try reading a book together about the potty training process.

Why are you potty training her so young? Between 2 and 3 is considered the norm for starting potty training and many kids aren't ready until later. When kids show interest, they're ready to start. What's the hurry?
