I figured I would start a new discussion! So, just copy and paste your answers! Let the questions begin, shall we? :)

1. If you are a mother, do you plan on having more children?
Not sure. We decided after our youngest was born 5 yrs ago that 3 children were enough! So my husband had a vasectomy. Now, 5 years later, we are wanting more. :( lol. So If we do decide for sure, we are going to look into adoption I think.

Currently I am a S.A.H.M. It has it's pros and cons! I LOVE meeting new people, and as a S.A.H.M. I don't get out as much! But at the same time, I love being accessible for my children if they need me throughout the day!

3. What do you do for fun?
I love taking my kids to the waterpark on hot days! We have so much fun! We like to Karaoke a lot! Family time is important to me! I believe the more time you spend with your children, the happier they are! And when they get older, they have all of those memories to look back on! :)

Florida. Although I have never been there, I love the warmer weather, and so many more things are out there than Missouri I'm sure! :)

1. If you are a mother, do you plan on having more children?
I'm not a mom, but I am a stepmom of a 16yr old boy. I always thought I wanted children, but right now I am so busy with starting my practice, I'm not sure how I'll have time for both! I love adjusting newborn babies though. They are some of my favorite patients :-)

2. What do you do for a living? And are you happy with what you do.
I am a Chiropractor in Kansas City and I also commute back to St. Louis 3 days a week until I am busy enough in KC to be there full time. I am currently working on creating my plans to be there full time. I am looking for a part time college teaching position that will help bridge the gap until my practice is busy. I LOVE what I do as a Chiropractor! I also offer Acupuncture, CranioSacral Therapy, Total Body Modification, and Nutritional Advice. It's what I was meant to do, and now I'm making the leap to Kansas City to branch out on my own, after practicing in St. Louis for 8 years with my family.

3. What do you do for fun?
I love spending time with my friends and traveling.

What are some of your blogs? Would love to read them! I used to blog on site too but it got too bogged down with politics and religion so I left!

Funny that you say Florida! I live here, and would love to move a little farther north! :) It's just so hot and humid here during the summers. And I'm a third generation Native Floridian! :)
. If you are a mother, do you plan on having more children?

No. I'll be 45 in December, and am just too old. I had my one and only at age 39. My pregnancy was good, but I had to do six weeks of total bed rest at the end, and then had a horrendous delivery. I really really wanted more, but when my husband and I discussed it, he said, "You didn't see what all you went through having a baby. I did, and I do not want you to go through that again." (I lost a lot of blood, had major tears, couldn't even sit up for the first two days, etc.) So I would loooovvve more babies, I don't think my body will cooperate. I am open to adoption, however, if we ever get into a better financial position.

2. What do you do for a living? And are you happy with what you do.
I work during the school year as a librarian at a private K-8 school. This is my ninth year there, and my seventeenth year as a librarian. Some parts of it (paperwork, shelving) are pretty boring, but I still enjoy storytelling and watching the kids get so excited and learning to read. I also do TV Production, which is probably my biggest passion right now, after my daughter and husband. I love editing footage and putting everything together with music and lighting and blowing people away.

It's hard because I work in a school that is a different religion that I am, so I frequently feel isolated and left out of the loop. It's not intentional, it's just that, on a staff of 35, only 3 of us are not the school's religion. So everyone else sees one another outside of school at services, and many are related and have known one another practically since they were in utero.
3. What do you do for fun?
Parks, zoo, museums with my daughter and husband. I love to ride bikes, walk, take wildflower photographs, look for cool mushrooms, and go thrift store shopping. I LOOOVVVEEE thrift stores.

4. If you could move anywhere in the worl, where would you live?
I live in Florida, and am a second generation native Floridian, but I would love to be somewhere with cooler summers and earlier falls. Maybe Carson City, Nevada? Of course, Hawaii always sounds nice!

5. What is one thing you couldn't live without?

My husband and daughter. Afther that, chocolate!

6. Do you like to cook or bake?

Gotta love the baking!

7. Did you attend your High School prom?

Just my Sr. Prom.

8. Have you attended any of your High School Reunions?

Nope. Do talk to some old classmates on Facebook ocassionally, though.

9. What is your favorite movie?

"Psycho", actually, To me it's the perfect movie; pared down to the ideal in every shot, the casting, the lighting, the music, the sets, etc. Just an amazing tour de force.

10. What kind of car do you drive?
2005 Ford Freestyle (kind of like a station wagon, not the minivan.) If I had my choice, though, it'd be a new Dodge Challenger. LOVE those muscle cars!
Cool! I worked for a chiropractor for nearly two years in between library jobs, and really liked it. It was always so powerful, being in the room with her, taking notes while she made adjustments. I really liked the way she genuinely cared about her patients, and helped them. She gave all of us staff free adjustments; we'd be lining up for them like crazy! She had a really good, safe touch we just all loved.
