Hi,

Just to back up what Lisa said in her post; it's VERY true.  I worked for the corporate HQ of Brown Bag Party about 2 years ago and many of the independent consultants made A LOT of money.  Plus, the owner really treats his reps well and with respect.  So, if you're not the shy type this would be a great opportunity for you (or anyone).

Wow.  I had no idea how many people are doing home parties.  That was just never my thing.  I am a baby boomer that lost my job about a yr. and a half ago with a background in Marketing, but for insurance cos.  I knew jobs were going to be scarce, but try non-existent for my expertise.   I had started a home based business based on the growing trend of online shopping & it helps families save money each month.  It has a profit sharing program, stock options, commissions & cash back, plus more.   I was looking to market myself online to attract new representatives and knew that sending them to a company replicated site was not going to bring in anyone because it is all about the fact that people want to work with YOU. 

 

So, along the way I got good at social media and created a blog.  But, the blog really got very little traffic.  After about 6 mos.of figuring out Twitter and Blogging my friend and I discovered an All In One product for Personal Branding.  If we had started with that it would have saved us countless hours of frustration.  We switched our blogs over to it and now I routinely get over 200 people on my site a day.  The interesting thing is that I have fallen in love with their system, which includes an article database, email auto-responder/list builder, webinars on learning social media, web cam technology that immediately uploads to your blog and soon, video emails - all for one price.   I realized that this was something truly interesting to me, very "in" and something where I can help others with their home based businesses.   I now have over 3,000 Twitter followers which I did not gain by some Twitter tool, have established myself on LInkedin and am creating webinars on how social media can be used for prospecting in various target groups i.e insurance, real estate, network marketing.  We show them how they can become an expert in their field.  For those in network marketing, it not the opportunity that is the attraction, it is what you can offer them in training, coaching, and motivation.  Does that make sense?

 

It is a very different home based business from what is normally seen out there.  People can join as just Affiliates or purchase the system and also make money referring from their own website so you have created another stream of income on top of what you are already doing.  The pay plan is excellent.  I even won a free I Pad in a sales contest.   What I love is that I can use it for both my warm market and my online market.
